Teddy!

I've been volunteering a lot over at the San Francisco SPCA. It's really been a great experience, and I've been able to hang out and walk many, many dogs. Here's some pictures of a dog named teddy, who got adopted the second I got done with my walk.

How to be your Dog's Best Friend

To get ready to start walking dogs, I am rereading The Monks of New Skete: How to be you Dog's Best Friend, A Training Manual for Dog Owners. The book came out in 1978 by a group of monks in upper New York who breed and raise dogs.

The book became very popular among dog owners very quickly and has been very easily recognized and trusted ever since. It talks about haw to train your dog as well as things that dogs will do and their experiences with raising dogs.

Mt. Doggity Dog

Mt. Doggity Dog is a dog and cat walking/sitting service for people who are going on vacation or a short trip and need their dog or cat to be walked and/or fed at an affordable value. The company is run by Ryan with his assistant, Sierra. Both Ryan and Sierra have owned a dog for their entire lives and have experience with walking and sitting other dogs and cats.
